Marianne J. Kelly
Marianne J. Kelly founded the original hospital-based Image Recovery Program in 1993 at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. Her knowledgeable background includes licensing as a professional hair designer, aesthetician, and makeup artist and completion of a program in clinical cosmetology accredited by the State of California. She is certified as an image consultant and as a mastectomy fitter by the Board for Orthotist/Prosthetist Certification. However, it is her personal story that provides the added insight. As a teenager, Marianne lost a sibling to leukemia. In 1976, her daughter was struck with leukemia. More than a decade later, Marianne was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She underwent brain surgery and has recovered beautifully. Through her insight and dedication, she has established Image Recovery Centers®.
